When a hunt confirms an intrusion, our digital forensics and incident response team contains and eradicates it.
Learn moreHypothesis-driven, behaviour-led search for adversaries already inside your environment. We map every hunt to MITRE ATT&CK and work from the telemetry you already collect, including EDR, logs, and network data, to surface activity that automated alerting has missed.
Threat hunting is the proactive, human-led search for malicious activity that has evaded your existing detections. Rather than waiting for an alert to fire, our analysts form hypotheses about how an adversary might be operating in your environment, then test those hypotheses against your telemetry. The work is structured around the MITRE ATT&CK framework, so each hunt targets specific tactics and techniques rather than chasing noise.
A hunt assumes an adversary may already be present. It is the disciplined counterpart to monitoring: where a SOC reacts to what its rules already recognize, a hunt deliberately looks for the behaviour that no rule has yet been written to catch, and turns each confirmed pattern into a new detection.
Every engagement follows the Cyber Shields rhythm: Assess, Protect, Monitor. For a threat hunt, that translates into the following steps.
Our hunting practice is anchored to recognized frameworks so findings and detections are defensible and portable across tooling.

Every engagement is scoped individually. Pricing depends on the size and complexity of your environment, the systems or controls in scope, and the timeline you need to work to. Rather than publish figures that rarely fit a specific situation, we prepare a written proposal with a clear fee and schedule once your scope is understood.
Tell us about your organization and the deadline you are working toward, and we will return a tailored proposal within five business days, following a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement.
We work from the telemetry you already collect. The most valuable sources are endpoint detection and response (EDR) data, operating-system and application logs, authentication records, and network telemetry such as firewall, DNS, and proxy logs. During scoping we review what is available and tune the hunt to fit. Where coverage is thin, we note it in the telemetry gap analysis.
A SOC and its monitoring rules react to what they already recognize: an alert fires when a known pattern is matched. Threat hunting is proactive and hypothesis-driven. Our analysts deliberately search for adversary behaviour that no existing rule catches, then turn each confirmed pattern into a new detection. Hunting complements monitoring rather than replacing it.
If we confirm malicious activity, we stop and provide immediate, clear findings so you can act without delay. We hand off to your team or to our DFIR practice for containment and eradication, and we support the response. Nothing is left ambiguous: you receive the evidence, the affected assets, and the recommended next steps.
Yes. Detection engineering is a core part of every hunt. Confirmed behavioural patterns are translated into reusable detection logic, expressed in Sigma where appropriate, so they can be deployed across your tooling. The result is that each hunt permanently strengthens your monitoring rather than producing a one-off report.
Yes. The hunt report, findings, and the readout session are available in both Arabic and English at no additional cost.
